In the shadowed corners of an ancient attic, two enigmatic boxes nestled together, wrapped in a shimmering veil of mystery. Legends whispered that their origin was lost to time, woven from secrets and forgotten spells. The innermost box, smooth and seamless, defied every attempt to reveal its contents—a riddle waiting for a worthy soul. Yet, with a flicker of enchantment, these boxes held the power to foresee the fate of a simple card game, unveiling the guest’s destiny with a touch of magic and wonder.

Damir has succeeded in creating a real mystery with The Nested Secret. A spectator is invited to select two cards from a deck of cards, their choice. The nested set of boxes is introduced, and the story of their origin and purpose is explained. The inner box is a paradox of mystery, as it has no apparent method of opening, and it is discovered to be a puzzle waiting to be solved. 

Within the inner box is a prediction, set into motion many years ago. Will the prediction prove to be correct, and how could it be, since the odds are against its success?

The outer box is fashioned from black poplar burl, a rare and exotic wood. The smaller box, cocooned within, is made of a combination of red padauk and black poplar burl and sealed with an invisible clasp. The Nested Secret is fashioned from the same exotic woods used in the Prophecy.

Nothing can compare to the beauty and precision that you will find in all of the Damir Limited Edition line.

The hidden mechanism is pure genius, and those who own earlier pieces from the Damir Collection can attest to his originality. The inner box will not open unless a series of moves are performed.

I can't overstate the detail and the dozens of hours that have gone into producing this effect, let alone the time it took to devise the mechanism, etc.

An important fact: the performer does not touch the inner box, as everything is performed by the spectator who controls the outcome.
