Hen Fetsch's Mental Epic, Improved! Limited quantities available.
Hen Fetsch is credited with inventing the Mental Epic routine in 1954. The trick is a classic of mentalism and magic, and with the No-Force method of performance leaves no doubt that the performer has mental powers beyond the norm.
You present a slate divided into six equal squares. In the bottom three squares, you make three predictions and cover them with three rosewood plaques. The spectator offers three thoughts of their choice, which are written in the top three squares. When you uncover your predictions, they match the spectator's selections exactly!
This method can be used with any type of items—such as a book, title, a word, number, color, design, name, place, date, or playing card. There is no force whatsoever. The spectator has a free choice throughout the routine. It feels incredible that you can predict their thoughts so effortlessly. This technique requires absolutely no skill or effort on your part; it is self-working and self-contained. The gimmick works as smoothly as silk.
Our Mental Epic is fashioned from select polished Teakwood with rosewood plaques. The bar across the bottom is actually a shelf that holds the plaques in place. Uses dry-erase marker.
