Many years ago Mikame came out with a set of Magic Chop Cylinders (M Cylinders). I enjoyed using those for many years. Sadly, most of Mikame items are no longer made or are hard-to-find collectibles.
Well, I have made a few cylinder sets that I call Excelsior Chop Cylinders, styled after the Mikame set. Our pieces are made of rich walnut, hand-crafted, and hand-polished. Each set comes with directions, monkey fist balls, and a beautiful velvet bag to carry the entire set.
The 'nesting feature' allows for some interesting handling. A ball can penetrate the top of one of the cylinders by covering it with the other cylinder, for example.
We hope you enjoy the rich feel of walnut and the precision used to manufacture this set. We have produced a limited number, and once these sell out, there will be no more.
