Ultimate Uplift

Uplift has been a favorite subject of mine ever since I read about it in an early Abra. I have always wanted to build this, adding the Viking touch. We have created what I believe is the Ultimate Uplift by combining my ideas with those of David Batra. This is the result: A Viking/Batra Productions original. A beautiful prop that is designed for the professional.

A Tale of Wonder and Surprise

Once upon a time in a bustling town, a mysterious magician arrived with an enchanting puzzle: three blocks—two golden yellow and one vibrant red. Each block gleamed under the stage lights, but the red block held a secret; its lid could be lifted, revealing a space perfect for a treasured object. On this particular evening, the magician invited a young audience member to lend their special ring, which was carefully placed inside the red block. 

With a flourish, the blocks were stacked upon a gleaming rod, the red block settling at the bottom, followed by its two cheerful yellow companions. To heighten the mystery, a shining chrome tube—empty for all to see—was gently slid over the blocks, concealing them from view. The magician clapped his hands, sending a ripple of excitement through the room. When the tube was lifted, the red block had mysteriously traveled to the middle of the stack!

The magician wasn’t finished yet. Once again, the tube was lowered over the blocks, sealing away the secret happenings within. After another magical gesture, the red block was found at the very top, having climbed past both yellow blocks to reach its new position. But magic is never one-way; with a knowing smile, the magician sent the red block back down, reversing its journey with playful ease.

As the final act approached, all eyes turned to the red block. The magician gently opened the block, and to everyone’s delight, the borrowed ring was returned, sparkling and unharmed, having experienced a series of magical travels. A story where everyday objects came alive, and a simple ring became the hero of a truly unforgettable adventure.
