Early VH Crystal Casket silk hank production.
This is an early Crystal Casket produced by Viking-Haenchen when Fred Haenchen worked with Viking. The casket is shown empty but then instantly fills with silk hanks, spring flowers, etc.
Hand crafted from brass and etched glass. Shows use due to brass oxidation. Very few were made and fewer remain. Due to the construction, many mistake this for an early Bland Magic casket, but it is definitely a VH product. I have seen these go for upwards of $200 at other auctions.
Condition: as per photograph (oxidized brass, but in working condition).
Mfg.: Viking-Haenchen Mfg. Co.
Ca.: 1973-Collectible-only a few remain.
